Five Brands, One Big Week – The Nutriment Company at Interzoo 2026

In May, our team travelled to Nuremberg for Interzoo 2026, one of the pet industry’s most important global gatherings. Across two booths in Hall 5, we brought five brands together under one roof – and for four days, Hall 5 felt like home.

The energy on the floor was unlike anything we’d experienced in a while. We welcomed retailers, industry leaders, and fellow pet nutrition enthusiasts for conversations about raw and fresh feeding, met a wave of new sign-ups to our ONE Shop platforms, and exchanged ideas with people who share our passion for pets. Every conversation reaffirmed what drives us every day: providing the very best for pets and the people who care for them.

None of this would have been possible without our team – the people behind the booths, behind the brands, and behind the scenes, who made the week what it was. We came away inspired, energised, and more motivated than ever to keep pushing the boundaries of raw, natural pet nutrition – and we’re already looking forward to the conversations still to come.

Fresh Feeding in Action

This year, Nutriment FRESH was part of a special event at a Fressnapf store, giving press and influencers the chance to experience fresh, natural feeding firsthand. The response exceeded everything we hoped for.

Dog after dog approached our stand with curiosity, and it didn’t take long before tails were wagging and bowls were empty. Guests told us about dogs with sensitive stomachs finally settling and picky eaters devouring a meal for the first time in months. Our dog ice cream was a hit of its own, with dogs lining up for a cool treat and everyone just as delighted watching them enjoy it.

Days like these are why we do what we do. Seeing dogs respond so visibly to what’s in their bowl reminds us that natural nutrition isn’t just a concept – it’s something you can see, right there, in a happy dog and a satisfied guest.

Fresh, natural pet nutrition is backed by science — and we’re committed to proving it. That’s why we’ve established the TNC Science Board: bringing together our internal specialists and two internationally respected external experts to guide our product development, strengthen research collaborations, and advance the science behind natural pet nutrition.

Our External Experts

  • Dr. Anna Hielm-Björkman | DVM, PhD, Docent — Assistant Professor at the University of Helsinki and founder of the DogRisk Research Group, one of the world’s leading research programs on the long-term effects of processed, fresh, and raw diets on canine and feline health.
  • Dr. Christine Nees | Veterinarian — A highly regarded specialist in pet nutrition and clinical practice, with extensive experience working with diabetic animals, patients with gastrointestinal conditions, and senior pets managing chronic disease.

Together, we’re placing science and veterinary expertise at the heart of everything we do — for stronger partnerships and healthier pets.

Pet Industry Federation Awards 2025 — New Product of the Year

Nutriment Gently Steamed was recognised as New Product of the Year (Food) at the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) Awards 2025. The range combines the full nutritional profile of our classic raw recipes with the convenience of ambient storage — no refrigeration required, no compromise on quality.

Developed for pet owners who want to feed naturally in any situation, Gently Steamed is built around carefully selected natural ingredients and a pet-centred approach to formulation. Whether at home, travelling, or on busy days, it delivers a complete, wholesome meal that’s ready whenever it’s needed.

This recognition reflects the work of everyone involved in bringing Gently Steamed to life — and the trust our customers place in The Nutriment Company day.

VetGruppen Deutschland — Connecting with the Veterinary Community

Nutriment recently attended a VetGruppen Deutschland event, joining veterinary teams for a day of discussion, education, and exchange. The program provided a focused setting to engage with professionals on topics including fresh nutrition approaches, special dietary needs, and the role of long-term nutritional support in veterinary practice.

Conversations like these matter to us. Understanding the perspective of veterinary professionals — and contributing meaningfully to the dialogue around evidence-based feeding — is central to how we work. The event also marked an opportunity to welcome Dr. Christine Nees, a member of our Science Board, at our stand, reinforcing the kind of hands-on collaboration we value.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and building lasting relationships within the veterinary community.

The BARFGOLD Holiday Giving Tree — Supporting Stiftung De Hun’nenhoff

Stiftung De Hun’nenhoff is a shelter dedicated to dogs with special needs — including dogs with disabilities, wheelchair dogs, and senior animals — providing them with a permanent home built on care and dignity. During a visit to the shelter, our BARFGOLD team witnessed firsthand the exceptional work done there every day.

To support the shelter during the holiday season, we launched the BARFGOLD Holiday Giving Tree. Each ornament on the tree represents one of the resident dogs, paired with a small personal wish — something that brings them comfort or joy. Supporters can choose an ornament and fulfil that wish directly, ensuring every dog receives exactly what they need.

The initiative reflects something we care about deeply: giving visibility to animals whose stories often go unnoticed, and to the people who show up for them every single day.
