Scientific evidence and regulatory guidance consistently show that with proper manufacturing controls and responsible hygiene practices, the risk remains very low.

Large-scale research on raw-feeding households supports this: reported human infections potentially linked to raw pet food are rare, and confirmed transmission cases are extremely low. This reinforces a clear principle – responsible production and proper handling are highly effective in managing risk.
